Katya’s television drama, “Igloo Boy (aka The Tenet)” was short listed for the BBC New Writers Initiative and her television drama “Cutaway” was selected for Rocliffe’s New Writing Forum. She won a national script competition with her short film “Monty & Victor” (Tangerine Productions).

From 1996 to 2002, Katya was a freelance Assistant Editor on over twenty British and US feature films, including “Harry Potter II”, “Captain Corelli’s Mandolin”, “The Hours”, “Ali G” and “Wings Of A Dove”.
