| Who says animals can’t
talk? 10 year old George is convinced there is more to
our furry friends than meets the eye, and if only he could
have a pet he could find out for real. But stinkbag brother
Vince is deadly allergic (so he says...) and their well-meaning
bohemian parents have banned George from keeping an animal.
George has
tried to argue his case, but this is a family where everyone
talks and no one listens. It seems hopeless - until George
receives a telepathic message from a rabbit called Ndl.
She needs his help and needs it fast. Someone is stealing
pets from all over town and if no one intervenes, Ndl
and her friends might be next. Risking the wrath of his
parents, George and the rabbit embark on a mission to
rescue the missing pets but find that making yourself
heard is a dangerous business...
With talking
bunnies, psychopathic grannies and a thrilling moped chase,
George’s Herd is a warm madcap comedy about learning
to listen and live together as a family.
