How would you choose to die? For Eddie, an ex-swimming champion who is dying from lung disease, his choice is home alone. But his plan for a peaceful exit is ruined when old friend Osbern flies in on a hotair balloon and whisks him away. Osbern tries to look after the stubborn Eddie with the help of his French girlfriend, but their already fragile relationship is put to the test as painful memories are resurrected and old scores are settled.

MY DARKEST HOUR by Mickey McGovern
