In
the middle of the night, while most people are fast asleep the residents of
Ashley Terrace in Harborne, Birmingham, are wide awake. They meet up in each other’s houses
every Thursday to while away the hours before daybreak, living out fantasies,
talking rubbish and occasionally partying.
Former
hotelier Ron rules the roost at the Happy Valley retirement home in
Bournemouth, until an unexpected new resident arrives through the door - his
ex-wife Shirley.
